Our Chairman's Visit to Prague, February 2019
The charity The Friends of Czech Heritage is a member of the British Czech Chamber of Commerce in Prague and on 7th February our Chairman Peter Jamieson and Secretary James Robertson attended a wine tasting promoted by the BCC as their special guests at the showrooms of the Lasvit glass company. This gave us the opportunity to mingle with members and establish contacts. At the end of the evening we received a cheque for 18,600Kc (£633/$819) raised from the raffle, which was organised as part of the evening's programme. This was a very generous gift and will be used to fund our work in the Czech Republic.

On 12th February our Chairman Peter Jamieson gave a presentation about the work of The Friends to the International Women’s Association of Prague at the Hergertova Cihelna in Malá Strana in Prague. He described the background to the founding of the organisation, its objectives and showed the projects that it has undertaken. There was considerable interest and new contacts were established amongst the audience.
