As a charity, we depend on legacies and donations to help us continue our vital work. Leaving us a gift in your Will means that we can continue to preserve Bohemian and Moravian historic treasures. There is still so much to be done in the preservation of architectural heritage in the Czech Republic.
Your gift would mean so much to us and you can rest assured that we will never spend a penny of our legacy on administration. You can even choose a specific project or area you would like to support. For a list of our current projects please click here.
There are so many wonderful historic places in the Czech Republic. They belong to everyone and we can all take pride in them. We want to help to protect these unique places so that today’s and future generations and enjoy and appreciate them.
SUPPORTING OUR WORK WITH A LEGACY
A gift in your Will is a fantastic way to support The Friends’ work, which costs nothing during your lifetime and could also save you money on tax.
Legacies are hugely important to us. They will go towards vital projects to conserve, restore and interpret some of the most significant buildings, gardens and parks in the Czech Republic, which would otherwise fallen to gradual neglect or destruction.
Leaving a gift to the Friends in your Will is an opportunity to leave a lasting legacy for future generations. Your gift will insure that irreplaceable pieces of art and architecture are there to be enjoyed in the years to come.

Thanks to a generous legacy left by one of our supporters, The Friends have been instrumental in restoring the banqueting hall in Uherčice château. The hall has already been in use for musical events in recent years, but our grant will make the ceiling stable and will install power and lighting, enabling concerts to be held here regularly. The video below shows how the space has been used and speakers include the soprano Pavlína Senić, and the former Speaker of the Czech Parliament Miroslava Němcová.
