The resort town of Teplice nad Metují is situated in rolling forested country near the Polish border. The Baroque Church of the Virgin Mary has a historic hermitage attached to it, which is being painstakingly restored by a small local group of volunteers. In 2019 we helped to rebuild the walls following the restoration of the roof and we continued this work in September 2022. During the week we had excursions to places of interest in the neighbourhood.
