The walk is a rich mixture of architecture, including lovely churches, and a delightful secret chapel, history and water - a lot is along the river. The walk is being led by Anne-Marie Craven.

Trinity Square Gardens/ Cross over to the Old Mint Building/ Cross East Smithfield to enter St Katharine Docks/ St Katharine’s Way/ Hermitage Memorial Garden/ Wapping High Street/ St John's Church/ Captain Kidd pub/ St Peter’s Church - visit/ Wapping Pier Head/ 'Town of Ramsgate' – possible lunch
LUNCH
Wapping Wall/ Shadwell Basin/ King Edward VII Memorial Park/ Free Trade Wharf/ Narrow Street/ Limehouse Basin/ Through Link to Foundation of St Katharine - hope to visit if possible/ End of walk - tea in the Yurt Café.
Anne-Marie Craven as an art historian spent many years doing picture research and running a fine art picture library specialising in art, history and archaeology with some militaria. On retirement she trained as a Blue Badge Guide and does walking tours, even the odd virtual tour during lockdown, concentrating on London and the outskirts. See her website:
