The Sixth Year of Restoration at Červený Dvůr in the Czech Republic

The holiday: situated in Southern Bohemia, Červený Dvůr is an estate that was once the summer residence of the Schwarzenberg family and is now a sanatorium. Participants worked on the restoration of an 18th-century gardener's cottage on the estate and helped to recreate the formal gardens of the château. Tasks involved simple building work and no prior skill was required. During the week there was the opportunity to visit some of the region's houses and castles.

Accommodation: twin bedrooms in the stable wing of the château. Full bedding and towels provided.

Cost: £75 for seven nights from Saturday to Saturday, including all meals, taken in the sanatorium dining room. Age 20+. See 'Payments' button for ways to pay.

Holiday dates:

Week 1 4th/11th June

Week 2 11th/18th June

Week 3 18th/25th June
