Two years ago The Friends and the Ministry of Culture contributed towards the restoration of a ceiling in the east wing. With the help of volunteers, generous donors and the village of Čečovice, the château has now acquired a new gate, just in time for the fundraising summer music festival on 26th August 2017.
Craftsman Michal Cafourek and his right hand man Jiří deserve thanks and admiration.
We wish the team behind the revival of the Čečovice château every success in their next task of restoring the façade.
