The Friends of Czech Heritage gave a grant for the cost of decaying windows in the hall of the building. This is the oldest and most significant space within the school and is used for the children's naps in the afternoon. Members of the committee were able to admire the work and the fact that it will help to ensure the survival of the frescoes. Meanwhile volunteers were helping in the garden, in line with The Friends' policy of encouraging local care for sites and landmarks.
